Rush Blow by Storm setup rematch with Idaho

The Rush came out hard and fast Saturday against the Oregon High Desert Storm and were able to coast their way to the finish winning 73-51 setting up a rematch with the Idaho Horsemen on 7/31. 

Quarterback Les Obie hit his favorite targets DeShon Williams #9 and Antoinne Wafer #1 early and often as both were able to find success in the passing game accounting for 4 combined touchdowns.

Running back Keithon Flemming #24 was a man possessed Saturday scoring several touchdowns and breaking several runs for 20 plus including a touchdown where Flemming broke several tackles in the backfield before scampering for a 15 yard touchdown late in the game helping the Rush seal the victory.

Not to be out done the Rush defense put up several sacks including a Safety by #98 Christian Lassiter who also had another forced fumble on a sack. Noke Tago also stepped up big for the rush front putting up several sacks and a forced fumble. 

Defensive back Marcellus Pippins #27 continued his snatching ways picking up a forced fumble and returning it 35 yards for a touchdown. Newly signed Defensive back Carlos Anderson locked down the field all game and added his first and second interceptions of the season.
