Offensive Lineman Joshua Davis Resigns with the Rush

by Brandon Tate

The Tri-City Rush are excited to announce the resigning of All-League AWFC Lineman and Rush Captain, Josh Davis. Davis who was selected as a All League Linemen lead the Rush on and off the field. His leadership and experience helped the Rush finish the Season in first 1st place and helped them cap off the season with the Championship Trophy.

"One thing I will tell you about Josh is that he is a complete player. No one will train harder or prepare harder than Josh. But none of those reasons are why we are excited to resign Davis. What Josh brought to the table was the fuel that got us the Championship. From day one Josh was the first guy to volunteer or step up for whatever the team needed. If we needed help putting down the turf Josh was there. His only concern was what he could do to help his team win a championship, whatever it was. His mentality and selflessness towards the team are the main reason we were able to be as successful as we were in season 1. We are more than excited to sign Davis for year 2 and defend our Crown" - Head Coach Brandon Tate

The Rush are hard at work preparing their roster for the 2022 season. The defending champs are on everyone's radar and the the Rush must be stronger than ever if they want to bring the trophy back to the Tri-Cities in year 2.
